Bear in mind that although the DS-1 is what is inside the BOSS ME-5, the ME-5 additionally greatly enhanced by the other FX alongside it, whether used in conjunction or isolation - one perfect example is the studio engineer's greatest friend - the fabulous ME-5 NOISE SUPPRESSOR!
